Role Overview

• Title: Senior Web Designer
• Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent)
• Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility is fine, as long as it’s communicated and consistent)
• Location: Remote (UK-based)
• Start Date: 1st Oct 2025
• Review Period: 3 months trial phase, with a formal salary review at 6 months based on performance and company growth.
• Notice Period:
  • First 3 months: 2 week notice
  • After probation passed: 1 month notice

Salary

• Base Salary: £48,000 per year (£4,000/month)
• Salary Review: Formal review at 6 months, with potential increase based on performance and contribution, then annually thereafter

Bonuses

• Profit-sharing bonus (team pool): Eligible from your first full year
  • Any profit above our net profit target gets shared across the team
  • Estimated: £1,500–£3,000 depending on performance

Pension

• 5% Employee contribution
• 3% Employer contribution (rising to 5% match after 2 years)

Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end design of high-converting B2B websites in Figma and Webflow
• Create modern, scalable design systems and reusable components
• Translate client goals into creative concepts and structured web experiences
• Oversee consistency across typography, layouts, interactions, and visual systems
• Push the standard on usability, accessibility, and responsive design
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are faithfully implemented
• Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers

Client & Team Collaboration

• Join client calls to present design decisions with clarity and confidence
• Gather and interpret client feedback, balancing it with best design practices
• Contribute to project scoping and timelines with realistic design input
• Support marketing/design workshops to align web projects with brand and CRO goals

Continuous Improvement & Growth

• Spot opportunities for CRO or UX improvements and propose ideas to leadership
• Contribute to case studies with design insights and rationale
• Share best practices, tools, and techniques with the wider team
• Keep ahead of Webflow/web design trends, accessibility standards, and AI-driven workflows
